Violence At, and State/Federal Citations Against, LHH Are Getting Worse

Even though the City is desperately using “spin control” to distract voters, recent citations against Laguna Honda are the worst in LHH’s history.

LHH’s Executive Administrator released on May 2, 2006 a “Frequently Asked Questions” document concerning the 2006 State Survey of LHH, in which he attempts to split hairs over whether the 274-page State report is about “patient abuse” (which he flatly denied), or merely a 274-page report citing “deficiences.”

What he did not note in his new FAQ about the State citations, is that the 2006 Survey contained a total of ten “actual harm” citations, with ratings of “G” and “H,” compared to only 4 actual harm citations in the previous report.
